The Daviess County Central Dispatch has been a topic long discussed.
Officials are currently working on a way to make it happen.
Commissioner Nathan Gabhart provided an update on the Central Dispatch at yesterday’s Daviess County Board of Commissioners Meeting.

In addition to discussing the central dispatch, officials also spoke about a request for a peaceful protest outside the Court House.
The Commissioners stated they received a request from a member of the community wishing to assemble a peaceful protest on the property.
Board members said they had no problem with them remaining on the property as long as the protest remained peaceful.
