Vincennes Police arrested two people at a hotel in on drug charges Monday.
Around 8:30 AM, officers with the Vincennes Police Department responded to Towne Place Suites on Willow Street in reference to a medical call.
Upon arrival, officers met with Brian Robling in the lobby.
Officers reported that Robling seemed to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
Police say that during their conversation with Robling, they learned there was a female, identified as Erica Burnett, in his hotel room.
Officers had previous knowledge that Burnett had multiple outstanding warrants.
Upon entering the room, the officers observed several items commonly associated with drug use.
Burnett was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Syringe, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
Robling was arrested on a Henry County warrant and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Syringe, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
Both were booked into the Knox County Jail.
