The Washington Hatchet suffered another tough loss falling in the seventh inning to Southridge at home 9 to 8. Four home runs on the day, with three belonging to the Raiders would be the difference in the outcome. Caleb Armstrong went yard for a three run shot for the Hatchets. Washington falls to 10 and 6 and is back on the road tomorrow with another tough outing at Forest Park.

The Chicago Cubs mustered just two hits and lost to the Atlanta Braves 5-0. Javier Baez and Kris Bryant sat out with injuries as the Cubs lost their fourth in a row. Martinez earned his first victory as a starter since 2018 and improved to 1-4 on the season with the win. Franmil Reyes homered twice and Cleveland defeated Minnesota 7-4. Joey Votto clubbed a two-run double in the seventh inning to give the Reds the lead, and Cincinnati held on to beat the Dodgers 6-5. The Portland Trail Blazers hit a barrage of 3-pointers and beat the Indiana Pacers 133-112 Tuesday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Anfernee Simons made 9-of-10 from beyond the arc to lead all scorers with 27 points and the Blazers hit 20-of-35 3-pointers overall. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Blue and Gold.
