A woman was arrested in Gibson County for meth possession last Thursday.
A Gibson County Sheriff’s Department Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Red 2001 Ford Escape on Old US 41.
The driver was identified as 26-year-old Samantha Payne of Kentucky.
During a roadside investigation, officers learned she had an outstanding warrant through Vanderburgh County.
Illegal drugs were also found in her possession.
Payne was transported to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Marijuana. She has since posted a $750 bond.
