George Alford age 64 of Washington passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at his residence.
George was born November 27, 1956 in Washington to Mary Ruth (LaForce) Alford and Victor Alford. He graduated from Washington High School in 1974. He was a truck driver for many years and worked at Standard Laboratories for many years. He was in the Indiana National Guards. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
George is survived by two daughters Valerie Hughes of Washington and Natalie Alford Mundy of Vincennes; brother Kenneth LaForce of Washington; sister Rene Alford Howard of Washington; seven grandchildren Bailey Davis, Tyanna Graber, Jacob Graber, Chase Wildman, Sarah Graber, Lilian Miller and Aisa Hughes; great-granddaughter Lainey Davis; special nephew Cody B. Howard of Montgomery and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Victor Alford.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
