Washington police had their hands full with a runaway horse yesterday morning.
On Monday around 3:30 AM, the Washington Police Department received a call about a horse running loose in the Jay C parking lot.
When Officers arrived, the horse ran and successfully evaded the Officers.
Police say the horse returned to the parking lot and then fled once more on East National Highway.
With the assistance of Washington’s Animal Control, the horse was corralled and taken to a safe location.
