Another Dollar General has opened locally.
The new store is located in Monroe City across from the Marathon gas station on SR 241.
Dollar General officials are celebrating the grand opening by donating about 100 books to a local elementary school.
Officials have also reported that nearby schools will now be eligible for Dollar General Literacy Foundation Grants.
In addition, the company announced that they are looking to hire about 10 people to fill several roles throughout the store.
