Saturday is Peace Officers Memorial Day.
Peace Officers Memorial Day is observed on May 15th of each year.
The day honors law enforcement officers killed or disabled in the line of duty.
A local ceremony hosted by the Daviess County FOP lodge 101 will be held at the Daviess County Courthouse today.
The public is invited to attend to honor all officers’ service and sacrifice.
The Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony will begin at 1 PM today, May 13th, at the courthouse.
