Another Safe Haven Baby Box is being installed in Indiana.
The state’s sixty-third baby box is going in at Bedford City Fire Department Headquarters on H Street.
Funding was provided by a $15,000 grant from Duke Energy,
The box will be available to the public starting Friday.
The box is temperature controlled and was installed in the wall of the fire station.
Once a baby is placed inside, officers are immediately alerted to their presne. .
