The warm humid weather, in addition to the rotation in the atmosphere, have the chance to create some funnel clouds, or “land spouts” again today.
WISH-TV Meteorologist Marcus Bailey says don’t confuse these with tornadoes.
He said once it starts raining the circulation is cut off.
So you could see it rotating in the air, but it’s not as dangerous as a tornado.
Bailey says they usually only last a minute or two, and then will go away.
The chance for showers and thunderstorms will continue throughout today and tomorrow.
