The Daviess County Health Department released the latest COVID-19 update on Monday.
Health Department officials reported one COVID-19 death in the community.
This is the 100th COVID death reported in the county since the start of the pandemic and the first COVID-19 death reported since April 7th of this year.
In addition, health officials reported seven new cases of the virus, bringing the overall total to 3,031.
About 12,784 residents have been tested to date.
Daviess County is currently showing a 7-day positivity rate of 4.7%.
Most of the state remains in Blue Status including Daviess, Martin, Knox, Dubois, and Greene Counties.
Pike and Gibson are currently in yellow status.
