The Board of Works and Safety met last night after the Washington City Council meeting and approved the INDOT Public Transportation Safety Plan for Washington’s Transit System.
The Board also gave VS Engineering approval of the APAs for temporary land acquisition as part of the Center Phase of the Old 50 project.
In other business the Board approved a request from Mischler’s Tavern to close SE 2nd Street between South Street and Fiscal Lane between 7pm and 1 am on July 9.
The Board also approved a request from Drew Williams and Joselyn Covey to close NE 2nd between Main and VanTrees between noon and 7pm for a Family Block Party.
