A Knox County man has been officially charged with murder.
45-year-old Kevin Hatfield was arrested last week after his wife, Jasmine Hatfield, was found dead at their home in Oaktown.
Police say she was found with severe stab wounds.
Hatfield was found Friday night in Sullivan County with blood on his clothes.
He was formally charged on Tuesday and appeared in court yesterday.
The Knox County Prosecutor’s office says a not guilty plea was entered and that a trial is set for this October.
Hatfield has been arrested previously for battery and drug dealing.
