A Haubstadt woman has been arrested for Neglect of a Dependent.
Around 7:00 pm yesterday, Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a juvenile female screaming inside an apartment complex on West Gibson Street in Haubstadt.
While en route to the scene, a maintenance worker who was working in the complex located a female alone with two other siblings inside the apartment.
Upon arrival at the apartment, the deputies began an investigation at which time 29-year-old Jessica Woodby of Haubstadt arrived at the building.
After contacting the Prosecutor’s Office and the Division of Family Services, she was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail.
She was charged with three counts of Neglect of a Dependent and remains in custody on a $750 bond.
