Rexanne D. Smith, 63, of Washington, passed away at 5;00 pm Friday, June 18, 2021, at the Golden Living Center in Petersburg, Indiana,
She was born November 8, 1957, in Blythe, Arkansas to Rex and Karla (Riffey) Stevens.
Rexanne had worked as a customer service representative. She enjoyed sewing making her own wedding dress and loved cooking in which she was known as an amazing cook and loved dinner parties.
Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Leah Dennis and her fiancé Eric Riker of Washington, Joshua Sorter of Washington, and Karla Sorter of Georgia, Marissa Small of French Lick, Kaylee Miles Washington, and Zane Small of Vincennes; her sister Terri Needhamer and her husband Jason of Huntingburg; her brother-in-law David Mandabach of Washington; her aunt, Julie Wills of Alabama; along with a great niece, great nephews, and a great – great nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Dorinda Fields; and a brother, Larry Raney Jr.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State Street, Washington with visitation from Noon until the service time. Goodwin-Sievers funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Rexanne Smith.
