The Daviess County Health Department has announced that as of July 1, they will be providing free COVID-19 testing for adults and children who do not have insurance.
The free test site was previously located at the DCH Quick Care Clinic on State Road 57.
DCH Quick Care will continue to provide testing for insured patients.
Appointments will be required and can be made by calling the Health Department at 812-254-8666.
The hours for testing will be Monday – Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm.
Health officials say you will be asked to park in the public lot next to the Health Department and call for a staff member to come to your car.
The Daviess County Health Department is located at 300 East Hefron Street in Washington.
