
The Washington Police Department’s 3rd shift had a busy weekend.
On Friday, around 3:00 am, Officers with the Washington Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on W National Highway for traffic violations.
With the assistance of a K9, Officers reported locating approximately 4.6 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine and 31 grams of Synthetic Marijuana.
The driver, 28-year-old Garrett Melton of Vincennes, and the passenger, 23-year-old Marion Young II of Bicknell, were taken to the Daviess County Jail.
Early Saturday morning WPD Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on E Main St for traffic violations.
During the stop, officers reported locating approximately 2.9 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, Paraphernalia, and a small amount of Marijuana.
The driver, 29-year-old Trey Hughes of Veedersburg, was arrested and taken to the Daviess County Jail.
