After high school, he attended Vincennes University and worked for his stepfather, Dave Wilson, on the family farm. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Kemmis) Miller of 35 years; sons and their spouses, Ryan & Kantin Miller, of Princeton and Garrett & Kelly Miller, of Montgomery; grandchildren, Luke, Lennon & Charlie Miller, Princeton and Mya & Cooper Miller, Montgomery; two sisters, Ann Miller, Vincennes and Julia (Larre) Orebaugh, Culver, MN; three brothers, Steve (Marsha) Miller, Louisville, KY, David (Lori) Wilson, Vincennes and Dick (Betty) Miller, Florida, nieces and nephews….
Keith lived life to the fullest. He had many interests from collecting antiques , repairing vintage jukeboxes to making homemade wine and beer. He loved old cars, was a longtime former member of the 20th Century Car Club and was a proud owner of a ’39 Chevy Coupe. Always up for a road trip, he loved visiting out-of-state relatives, attending his grandkids games/events and was always ready for a 5-hour run to buy a well-researched vintage “find”, like a truck or jukebox (or two).
Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He was known as the “Master Pancake Maker” by his Grandkids. Poppy showed interest in all they did, often with a “back when I was growing up” story telling of his similar childhood interests. He had many stories displaying his love of family history and his sense of humor.
Keith was known and admired for his integrity, character and devotion to his family and he will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be conducted at Gill Funeral Home, at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 9, 2021 with burial following at Sugarland Memorial Gardens.
