Phone scams are continuing to be a problem throughout the area.
The Princeton Police Department is once again reminding area residents of phone scammers using local area and zip codes.
The caller states that they are from some “Federal” agency and that a warrant is out for your arrest.
They then tell you that you must contact them or pay money immediately or you will be arrested.
This scam has been going on for a while.
Princeton Police wish to make it clear that this is a scam and to not give them any credit card, social security, or any other private information.
They say when you receive a call like this one, just hang up.
