The FOP Lodge 101 is inviting the public out to Longfellow Park this weekend.
They will be hosting a softball tournament this Saturday, July 17.
This fundraising event will help raise money for the FOP Lodge 101/Cops and Kids.
For the last 30 years, Lodge 101 has organized and hosted Cops and Kids for children in need during Christmas time in Daviess and Martin Counties.
The day will start off with the singing of the National Anthem at 7:55 a.m., followed by the first pitch at 8:00 a.m.
The first game of the day will feature the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office Team going head-to-head with the Washington Police Department Team.
All are welcome and concessions will be available.
