Khris Middleton scored 40 points and the Milwaukee Bucks came back to beat the Phoenix Suns 109-103 in Game 4 of the NBA Finals in Milwaukee. Middleton outscored the Suns by himself 10-4 over the final two plus minutes to send the series back to Phoenix tied at two after the Bucks trailed the series 2-0. Giannis Antetokounmpo skied for a block on what looked to be a game-tying dunk from DeAndre Ayton with over a minute to go, and the two-time league MVP finished with 26 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists. Devin Booker overcame foul trouble and scored 42 points in the loss. Pat Connaughton hit a crucial 3-pointer to give Milwaukee the lead with three minutes to go, and the Notre Dame alum finished with 11 points and nine rebounds.
Two Indianapolis Colts legends are less than a month from officially being inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Peyton Manning and Edgerrin James will receive their Gold Jackets next month in Canton. The five-time MVP Manning will be introduced at the ceremony by his father Archie, a move Peyton called a “no-brainer.” James will be introduced at the induction ceremony by Colts owner Jim Irsay. “Edge” will be inducted with the Class of 2020 August 7th, while Peyton will go in with the Class of 2021 the next night.
The Triple-A Indianapolis Indians announced five additional home games that will be added to the schedule at the end of the season. All Triple-A teams will play an additional 10 total games to help determine a league champion. The “Triple-A Final Stretch” will extend the season until October 3rd, and each team will play two five game series, one at home and one on the road. The Final Stretch replaces the traditional playoffs, and awards will go to the team with the best record throughout the regular season and to the team with the best ten game record. Indianapolis fell to the Omaha Storm Chasers 6-5 in 12 innings Wednesday night at Victory Field.
