Former North Knox Basketball Coach dies after battle with cancer

The former assistant principal and head basketball coach of North Knox High School has died.

Mark Dillion was a highly respected and beloved member of the Knox County Community.

He served as head coach for several years even winning a sectional title back in 2004.

In addition to serving as assistant principal and basketball coach, he also served as baseball coach, cross country coach, and as a golf coach.

During his time at North Knox he was also a teacher and athletic director.

He died yesterday after a battle with cancer.
