McCracken resigns from Daviess County Council

A member of the Daviess County Council is stepping down.
At Wednesday’s Daviess County Council Meeting, Council President Tony Duncheon noted the absence of Councilwoman JoAnn McCracken.
Duncheon announced that McCracken had turned in her resignation which is set to take effect July 31st.
She has served on the County Council at Large since 2008 and also served several years in the Auditor’s office from March of 1987 through December 1997 working under Ron Frette and Bill Eaton.
In addition, McCracken served as the Daviess County Auditor from 1998-2006.
