There was an increase in drug overdose deaths in Indiana over the last year.
The CDC says overdose deaths in Indiana jumped 33% during 2020, going from more than 1,700 overdose deaths in 2019 to just more than 2,200 in 2020.
The CDC believes the coronavirus lockdowns was a significant reason for the increase.
