Immediate APS Budget Concerns Alleviated

aps

Last Wednesday, the Daviess County Council heard from Rob Haseman with Adult Protective Services.
Adult Protective Services is a state program with around 17 hubs across the state that investigate cases of adult abuse and neglect.
Haseman gave an update on the issues the local hub was having with a delayed reimbursement contract they sent to the state.
The organization has been dealing with funding issues for a while with Daviess County stepping in to help fund operations…

Haseman recently provided us with an update on the situation…

The branch currently has three employees and serves Daviess, Knox, Martin, Greene, Pike, and Dubois Counties. Haseman did say that there will be some changes coming soon…

Haseman has been with APS for twelve years and spent 20 years in law enforcement before that. Thank you for your work throughout the area and best of luck from WAMW.
