Daviess County EDC Director Bryant Niehoff gave a yearly update at yesterday’s Daviess County Board of Commissioners Meeting.
Niehoff noted that COVID did slow things down a bit, but that they had an otherwise busy year.
He noted that the EDC responded to 21 requests for information as well had six interactions for site selections.

Niehoff also noted that the EDC was able to help around 80 Daviess County businesses in the last year with COVID relief dollars administered through OCRA.
Lastly, he stated that from 2018-2020, $125 million has been invested in Daviess County, bringing 10 new attractions and expansion projects to the area.
Those investments also gave the county $25 million in new tax revenue.
