Gibson County couple charged with Neglect of a Dependent

A Gibson County couple has been arrested in Princeton for Neglect of a Dependent.
On Monday, just before 8:00 am, officers from the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office and Princeton Police Department went to the 400 block of West State Street to serve a warrant on 39-year-old Benjamin Sands of Princeton.
Upon arriving at the residence, officers attempted to make contact with Sand, but were met with 31-year-old Christina Pferrer who provided false information of his whereabouts.
Officers then entered the residence and located Sands.
Sands and Pferrer were both taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail.
Sands is being held on a $750 bond for the Neglect of a Dependent warrant.
Pferrer is also being held on a $1300 bond for the Neglect of a Dependent warrant as well as a new false informing charge.
Additional charges are being filed on the pair.
