40 of Indiana’s 92 counties remain in the “blue” on the state’s color-coded COVID map.
Blue represents the lowest ranking of risk of COVID spread.
Four counties — Newton, Montgomery, Knox, and Gibson — are back into the “orange,” the second-highest risk of spread.
The Indiana Department of Health reported 1,085 new COVID cases on Tuesday.
That’s the first time in two months that the daily count is over 1,000.
More than 2.9 million Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.
