A Fort Branch woman was arrested after a traffic stop on Monday.
Around 8:00 am, a Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped on an older model white passenger car for speeding on US 41 near State Road 68.
The driver was identified as 36-year-old Tiffany Nicholl of Fort Branch.
During the stop, the officer observed several open alcohol containers that were partially empty.
Nicholl was later taken to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Operating a Vehicle While Being a Habitual Traffic Offender.
She was also served an arrest warrant for a prior OWI case.
Nicholl is being held without bond.
