Daviess County has seen a recent increase in COVID cases.
The Daviess County Health Department says 17 new cases have been confirmed since Monday.
The overall total since the start of the pandemic now stands at 3,119.
In addition to the new cases, the Health Department also reported another COVID-19 death bringing the total number of deaths in the county to 101.
Daviess and Martin Counties are currently two of fifteen counties in the state that remain in blue status.
The rest of the state is either in yellow, orange, or red.
Daviess County is currently showing a 7-day positivity rate of 3.4%.
