As the summer break comes to an end, students across southern Indiana are headed back to school.
Washington Community Schools and Vincennes Community Schools began classes on Thursday.
With that return to school, the Indiana State Police is reminding all motorists to be focused on traffic safety during morning and afternoon commutes.
They say motorists should be prepared to experience an increased amount of school bus traffic and pedestrian children walking to and from their bus stops.
They ask motorists to plan commutes accordingly and to give special attention to the reduced School Zone speed limits.
ISP says you can make Indiana roadways safer for all Hoosier students, by doing your part and following all laws and guidelines.
