Know County is now in Orange Status and health officials say Red Status is likely on the horizon.
They say 143 COVID-19 cases are currently active this week in Knox County.
Five unvaccinated Knox County residents are currently at Good Samaritan Hospital with one of those on a ventilator.
Nine patients from outside Knox County are also hospitalized at GSH and of those only one is vaccinated.
Good Samaritan is operating at capacity, and they say the Delta Variant is dominant.
County officials are strongly recommending wearing face coverings while in public places.
Health officials are also calling on residents to get vaccinated.
