The Daviess County Council met for a short meeting on Tuesday.
During the meeting the board presented a plaque to JoAnn McCracken.
McCracken announced her resignation from the council last month due to her getting married and moving out of the county.
During the meeting, it was also announced that Dave Smith would be resigning.
Smith took a position with Adult Protective Services which doesn’t allow him to serve on the council.
In addition to presenting both with plaques, the other members individually thanked them for their time of service.
The remaining council members now prepare for budget hearings with two seats left vacant.
