Crews responded to several area accidents in the last 24 hours. Around 2:00 pm, crews were dispatched to Loogootee for an accident on HWY 50 & 1025 East. The accident involved pickup truck hauling wood. No injuries were reported.
Another accident was reported around 11:00 pm last night on I-69 near mile marker 83.5. A single car was found on the side of the road. Crews say a fuel pump failed. No injuries were reported.
Lastly, a third accident was reported around 1:00 am this morning involving a vehicle and a buggy. That accident on happened on 900 East in Montgomery near 550 North. No injuries were reported and both the vehicle and the buggy checked fine.
Authorities remind motorists to please slow down and be mindful of officers when traveling past the scene of an accident.
