DLC Media, Inc. has filed an application with the FCC to sell Radio Station WVIG 95.9 licensed to Seelyville, Indiana to Educational Media Foundation.
Educational Media Foundation is a not-for-profit Christian Ministry based in Rockland, California and is the parent company of K-Love and Air1.
President and General Manager, Dave Crooks, says he has decided to consolidate his 5 Terre Haute area radio stations to 4.
Along with sale come changes to some of the remaining stations.
The Legend format will soon replace the current Jack FM format and the WZJK call letters will eventually be changed to WVIG to accommodate the move down the dial.
Crooks also says they plan to broaden the current music format of WAMB AM 1130, FM 106.9 in Brazil and WAMB-FM 99.5 in Terre Haute.
They will soon change from a Timeless Classics format to a Soft Adult Contemporary format. WAMB will continue to feature CBS Radio News, Network Indiana, as well as local News with Frank Rush and Northview High School Sports.
The changes should start to take effect before August 30th.
