DNR has identified the body that was found in the Wabash River a few days ago.
Conservation Officers were called to the scene around 1:00 pm Sunday afternoon after a fisherman said he spotted what appeared to be a body in the water.
Once on scene, officers confirmed it was a body.
Investigators say the victim been identified as 53-year-old Renold D. Elp of Vincennes.
The cause of death is still under investigation.
