School board approves stipend for 2020-21 employees

The WCS Board approved several new hires last night in addition to a $1,000 stipend for several full time employees.
The Board voted to give all full time employees during the 2020-2021 school year a $1,000 stipend in recognition of the increased workloads during the height the pandemic.
Employees working part time will receive a stipend prorated to the number of days they worked.
In personnel action, the Board approved hiring Hannah Mehringer as the high school agriculture teacher, and Stevie Joyce, Mary Louis, and McKenzie Showalter as Instructional Assistants.
Leaves were granted to Amanda Hogan and Isabella Henderson.
The Board also approved several non-athletic E.C.A. positions.
In addition, the Board accepted resignations from HS Ag. Teacher Miya Bromm, and instructional assistants Andrew Ramsey, Kisa Ramsey, Nicole Andrews, and Morgan Dillon.
Lastly, the board accepted the resignation of Jr high girls tennis coach Lori Hancock.
