Emergency crews in Washington responded to multiple accidents on Thursday.
The first was reported around 7:50 am on HWY 257 near the I-69 overpass in Washington. Crews said when they arrived they found a pickup truck flipped over. They said the driver possibly blacked out due to diabetes. The driver was conscious upon leaving the scene.
A second accident was reported just hours later around 2:00 pm at the intersection of HWY 50 and HWY 57. The accident involved a Jeep Liberty and Semi and sent one person to the hospital in a helicopter. No other details were released.
Lastly, a third accident was reported a little after 4:00 pm on 150 West and Old HWY 50 West. According to a police report, there was a verbal altercation between the drivers following the accident and one of the drivers was cited for speeding. No entrapment or injuries were reported.
Local authorities remind residents to slow down and be mindful of emergency response crews.
