Your local American Legion says scammers are at it again.
The American Legion has received information that someone is going door to door asking for donations for the American legion in the Washington Indiana area.
Post Manager Tami Hamm says this is no way affiliated with post 121, and to please avoid falling for this scam.
Authorities remind to residents to never give out personal information and to always check for credentials.
