In other business, the Council passed a resolution requiring an affidavit certifying that individuals requesting city permission to hold events, will assure the City that no criminal behavior will take place. The resolution came at the request of some community residents.
Dr. Nick Dahl presented photos of the Drag Show at the recent Pride event that showed some of the participants engaging in what the City Attorney said could be violations of state law since there were children present.
After the meeting, Mayor Rhoads asked for local residents to be patient when requesting city services. The Mayor said the recent wave of COVID is affecting the City’s work force and slowing down response times…

Again, please be patient with the city as they will get to you as soon as they can.
