The Daviess County Health Department is reporting 41 new cases of COVID-19 since Friday.
That is the lowest number reported since August 20, 2021.
Of the new cases, 38 individuals were unvaccinated with 9 of those being children under the age of 12. The other 3 individuals were fully vaccinated. The total case count for Daviess County since the start of the pandemic, now stands at 4,105.
One additional death has also been reported bringing that number to 107.
Daviess County remains in Orange Status and is currently showing a 7-day positivity rate of 14.3%.
Dubois and Knox Counties also remain in Orange Status. Knox County’s 7-day positivity rate has dropped below 10% and now stands at 9.1%.
Martin, Pike, and Gibson Counties remain in Red Status.
