New housing units are coming to Petersburg.
The Pike County EDC recently announced that New Hope Development Services will be developing 10 new housing units in Petersburg in 2022.
The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) says $3.9 million in funding is available for two new affordable housing developments for New Hope Development Services.
One of those will be built in Petersburg and the other project will be in Rockport (Spencer County).
Both developments will consist of multi-family duplexes with three bedrooms, two baths, and one car garages.
They will be all green building certified for energy efficiency.
