Kenneth J. Williams, 83, passed away September 2, 2021, while at the Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, California. Although Kenny was originally from Cannelburg, Indiana; he was a longtime resident of California. He was born on July 20, 1938, in Dearborn, Michigan, to George A. Williams and Dorothy M. (Gohl) Williams.
Kenny was a graduate of Montgomery High School. He lived all his adult life in California where he was a carpenter and underwater welder. He was of the Christian faith. Kenny served in the military. He was known by his nickname, “Santa.”
Kenny leaves behind his biological children, Thomas and Melody; his brother, George W. Williams of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.
During his lifetime, Kenny sustained the loss of his parents, George and Dorothy Williams; his brother, Tommy Williams; and five sisters: Gale Butcher; Margaret Lents; Judy Rideout; Dorothy Taylor; and Mary Greenwell. He also mourned the loss of several nephews.
Visitation for Kenneth John Williams will be Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 12:00 – 1:00 pm, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, North Chapel, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana.
Kenneth’s funeral will immediately follow the visitation at 1:00 pm, also at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, North Chapel. Father Sudhakar Bhastati will officiate.
Interment will be in the St. Peter Cemetery, Montgomery, Indiana.
