The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration has issued information about two up-coming changes in the U.S. Food and Nutrition Services SNAP program.
Beginning tomorrow, benefits will increase due to the recent re-evaluation of the Thrifty Food Plan. However, this increase is only of the pre-pandemic benefit and does not include the 15 % boost given to SNAP recipients by the 2021 American Rescue Plan which ends today.
SNAP participants, and others with questions, should contact the FNS offices.
