The Daviess County Health Department is reporting 43 news cases of COVID-19 since Wednesday.
That brings the total case count since the start of the pandemic to 4,369.
Of the new cases reported, 35 individuals were unvaccinated with 6 of those being children under the age of 12.
The other 8 individuals were fully vaccinated.
In addition, the department is also reporting one additional COVID death bringing that total 110.
Daviess County remains in Orange Status, however, the 7-day positivity rate has dropped to 10.5% on the state’s COVID map.
Martin, Pike, Knox, Dubois, and Gibson Counties are also all in Orange Status.
