New details are being revealed about the shooting outside of the Ben Davis High School homecoming game.
Arrest records say 18-year-old David Tillman is said to have fired a semi-automatic handgun towards a crowd.
Three men then ran from police: One was a former Ben Davis student, and the other two are not current students.
Tillman was arrested and charged with criminal recklessness, battery with a deadly weapon, and carrying a handgun without a license.
Tillman told police he shot the 16-year-old victim by accident when firing warning shots in self-defense after a disturbance near the field.
No details other were released on that incident.
