Myra A. Holman, 77, of Monroe City, passed away October 5, 2021 in Vincennes, IN. She was born August 4, 1944 to Myron and Thelma (Stafford) Holman in Vincennes, IN. She graduated from Monroe City High School and worked for Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes for many years. She loved all animals, especially her cat Ruthie. She was also a member of the Vincennes American Legion and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Myra is survived by her niece, Jana (Greg) Peters, Christa (Paul) Stephens, and Karin Taylor; great nephews, Keith Adams and Gregory Bottoms; and sister in law, Patty Holman.
She is preceded in death by her companion, Don Jordan; brother, Edward K. Holman; and her sister, Monette Holman Barry.
Services for Myra will take place at 1 PM EST on Saturday, October 9, at Hamline Chapel Cemetery in Monroe City, IN. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be sent to Pet Port at 1128 River Rd. Vincennes, IN 47591 or PAWS at PO Box 63 Petersburg, IN 47567. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
