With Halloween just around the corner, the City of Washington is offering the City’s kids and their parents a Safe and Healthy alternative to traditional door-to-door trick or treating. Washington Mayor Dave Rhoads says the Parks Department has organized a huge Safe Stop at the Park between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Halloween night. Mayor Rhoads says 15 community organizations have signed up to participate in the Safe Stop
Mayor Rhoads thanked Washington Park Superintendent Kip Kelly for his help in organizing the Safe Stop.
Again, the Safe Stop will be drive through…at East Side Park in Washington, from 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Halloween evening, October 31.
