Restaurant raising funds for injured Posey County Deputy

One restaurant in Evansville hopes to raise money for an injured officer.
The Milk & Sugar Scoop Shoppe have teamed up with police for a fundraiser benefiting Posey County Deputy Bryan Hicks.
The shop donated 50-percent of its recent sales revenue to Deputy Hicks’ family.
It was back in September when Deputy Hicks was shot in the head by Paul Wiltshire, a former New Harmony town marshal and former Posey County reserve deputy.
Wiltshire was also shot but recovered and was later arrested.
Hicks is still in recovery, but has been moved out of the ICU.
He is now in a rehibition center for intensive therapy.
