House Prices Continue to Rise

House prices continue to rise in the Hoosier state, according to the MIBOR Realtor Association.
Their study says the average price of homes specifically in central Indiana went up 13 percent, comparing September 2021 to September 2020.
House prices here in Washington have went up 13.6% since last year according to the September report from realator.com. The median list price for houses in Washington is around $165,000.
Houses in Vincennes are up 8.1% on the year with the median list price trending at $135,000.
Smaller communities have also been affected by the housing shortage with house prices in Petersburg up over 47% since last year.
Sources say the number of houses on the market are still tight, however, it’s a little better than it was in the spring and summer.
